Cristian A Herrera, MD, MBA, MSc, The World Bank, Chile and USA
Cristian A Herrera is a senior health specialist in the Latin America and the Caribbean region at the Health, Nutrition and Population Global Practice of the World Bank, and maintains an Associate Researcher position in the Department of Public Health of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Cristian worked as a primary care doctor in the Municipality of Santiago, Chile before moving to work in public health and policy issues. He is a former Health Policy Analyst at the OECD, and former senior health official in the Ministry of Health of Chile, reaching the position of Acting Vice-Minister of Public Health. Cristian is a medical doctor from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and holds a graduate diploma in international relations from the University of London, an MBA from Universidad de Chile, and an MSc in Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
