Talk: Using mobile phone data in COVID-19 research
Jizhe (Michael) Xia is currently an assistant professor at Shenzhen University, China. His research interests include spatial computing and its applications in public health. His research about COVID-19 risk mapping is cited by top journal papers (e.g., and ) and reported by nationwide media (e.g. “Xinhua News”). Since 2020, he served as SRC Co-Chair for ACM SIGSPATIAL, and deputy director for Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Spatial Smart Sensing and Services.
