Fiorella is a nutritionist and has a Master of Public Health Nutrition from the National Institute of Public Health of Mexico. She worked for the Federal Government supporting food programs and then at many civil society organizations as Save the Children and El Poder del Consumidor where she promoted food public policies as a researcher, as spokesperson to the media and advocate with decision makers. She currently holds a position as Nutrition Officer at UNICEF Mexico promoting public policies to enable food environments favorable to good nutrition for every child. She was on the frontline of the package labelling debate in 2019-2020.
