Dr. Corrado Campochiaro graduated in 2012 in Medicine at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan. During his medical trainee he did a 3-month internship in clinical and experimental transplantation at the Transplantation research center, Harvard Medical School under the supervision of professor Paolo Fiorina. He then specialized in Clinical Immunology at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan in 2018 with a dissertation on “Elevated kynurenine levels in diffuse cutaneous and anti-RNA polymerase III positive systemic sclerosis”. During his residency program he spent 18 months as a Clinical Research Fellow at the Unit of Scleroderma and Connective Tissue Diseases at the Royal Free Hospital and University College London in London, UK under the supervision of Prof. Christopher Denton where he focused on the care of scleroderma patients . Since 2019 he is a member of Young Investigator Group of the EUSTAR, of the Scleroderma Interest Group of the Italian Society of Rheumatology and of the Study Group on Microcirculation in Rheumatic Diseases (EULAR)

Currently he works as consultant in Rheumatology Clinical Immunology at San Raffaele Hospital in Milan and he is a Lecturer in Rheumatology and Adjunct Professor in Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology. In June 2022 he has been elected as a counselor of the EUSTAR
