Amy Wesolowski is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research focuses on the understanding the role of human mobility on infectious disease dynamics with a particular focus on vector-borne and vaccine preventable disease. Her research combines novel data sets, epidemiological studies, and modeling to better quantify human travel patterns and understand how this can impact the control and elimination strategies for various pathogens. Previously, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health and Princeton University. She received her PhD in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
